While in Juba, our leadership team visited Mangalla IDP Camp, a refugee camp home to 12,000 displaced people. Due to the challenges of conflict, climate, food insecurity, instability, and infrastructure, and with regard to South Sudan’s heavy youth population (74% of the population being under 30), we are putting out a call to action: reconstruct three basketball courts which will give the youth a space to keep engaged while finding unity and accessing worldly opportunities through the realm of sports. In order to achieve this mission, we are excited to launch our capital campaign in partnership with Los Angeles Lakers player, Wenyen Gabriel.
